How do I purchase from Decorative Materials?

We kindly ask that all materials are purchased through a trade professional. If you are a homeowner, you can contact us ahead of time to put us in touch with your designer, builder, installer, or architect, and we will get you connected with a Design Consultant who can help you and your trade professional throughout every step of your project. We sell to clients across the country and are here to simplify your process.

Why does it take time to get my tile? Why can’t I take it with me now?

As much as we would love to load your vehicle with tile directly from our showroom, usually our products ship directly from our vendors. Our “In Stock” collection is inventoried in our Denver Warehouse and most products can be packed and ready for pickup within 24 hours. In addition, our custom products are made to order to your specifications, therefore lead times are increased for these products.

Why should I hire a professional, experienced installer and check their references?

Choose your installer wisely! Check references and ask for a portfolio of work. After you’ve spent time and energy selecting the perfect product, don’t let a poor installation detract from the beauty of your product. The most exquisite products cannot compensate for poor or careless installation. On the other hand, lesser priced products can actually gain appeal if installed with perfection! Why should my husband NOT install my tile?

As resourceful as your husband or best friend may be, we recommend working with an experienced installer. Products vary in material composition as well as format, mosaics vs large format. An experienced installer should provide the proper setting materials to ensure a successful installation.
