DESCRIPTION

The Giacomo Snapdragon waterjet mosaic is from the San Marco Collection by New Ravenna for Decorative Materials. This collection, designed by Jacquelyn Bizzotto, pays homage to the enchantment of Venice, drawing inspiration from the characteristics of the Lagoon city.

Considered to be a symbol of harmony in nature, Paolo Uccello first created a stellated dodecahedron mosaic in Venice during 15th century. Giacomo is an elaborate, contemporary interpretation of this complex geometric shape. Shown in honed Basalto Orvieto, polished Bianco Antico, Snapdragon, and Oyster.
